Pass My Hat 04:36
Pass My Hat I’d pass my hat, but it’s all full of holes Your loose change, baby, do me no good no more Now fry my soul in your nuclear fission And I’ll ride your heat wave right out the door The sky is burning and your city’s melting I’m gonna get my hat, Lord get out of this town The sea is steaming and the earth’s just a quaking I’m gonna plant my dream in what’s left of the ground Follow the prints my feet are making Don’t know where I have been but I’m goin’ home You may think I’m dreaming, but I’m just sleep a walking You may think I’m goin’, but I’m already gone. ©2006 by Mark “Mad Dog” Friedman All rights reserved. http://www.maddogharp.com

The Mojo Medicine Show is psychedelic, back porch blues at its best!

The Mojo Medicine Show is a unique blues duo that blends the jug juice of 1930's juke band music with the electric kool-aid jams of the 1960's.

Mad Dog Friedman - harmonica, & vocals
Dan "Mojo Man" Crecco - washboard, percussion & vocals
All arrangements by the Mojo Medicine Show.

Engineered, mixed and mastered by Mad Dog Friedman
Album art and cover design by M. D. Friedman

The original Mojo Medicine Show toured the western slopes of Colorado in the summer of 1976. This ragged and hairy troupe of musicians, Gypsy fortune tellers and belly dancers performed their way into the hearts of many a mountain town. It is in this tradition of Colorado’s own home grown, psychedelic, back porch blues that the Mojo Medicine founder, Mad Dog Friedman, decided to create a unique blues duo that captures the spirit of those amazing times. This new incarnation of the Mojo Medicine Show features Mad Dog Friedman on harp, vocals and Theremin and Dan Crecco on washboard, percussion and iPad synth. The modern Mojo Medicine Show puts down the real deal, hippy trippy blues seldom heard in this day and age. From their contemporary, simple, heartfelt, rural-rooted blues to their vintage, analog, improvisational, experimental, aleatory 'lectronica, the Mojo Medicine Show offers a unique alternative to today's throwback, retro-folk and refracted root music scene.
